		<description>While I only skimmed this I saw no reference to the Sino/Soviet rift, Nixon/kissinger’s Playing the China card, China’s war on Vietnam and China’s general tilt toward supporting some of the same counter revolutionaries as the US in Southern Africa. China’s collaboration with the USfrom 1969 on had much to do with the collapse of socialism as a world force. But China today represents our only hope for avoiding world war and climate catastrophe.
