The two things we are lacking are a vision of a more democratically controlled economy with "checks and balances" of a mixed economy and the strategy to get there. Those on the left always seem to get bogged down on four things: 1.the correct Marxian analysis of the situation or ideal situation for change, 2. Is the vision and strategy "anti-imperialist" enough, and three whether nor not to use violent, nonviolent or a mixture of the means for revolutionary change, and of course 4. who will be in the vanguard of leading this revolution, the "vanguard party" or the "proletariat.?"
